Furnace Restart: Our drivers are happy to restart your furnace for you at the time of delivery if you ran out of oil. Please tell the office when ordering or the driver when he is there for the delivery. Each customer receives one complementary restart per year. Additional restarts cost $25. **This service only available when the delivery is made.**
New Customers
*Suspended during COVID* We require a quick visual inspection of the fuel tanks that are inside buildings the first time we fill them. We look for: no plastic pipes, no openings on top of the tank that are not shut, solid good condition legs without excessive rust, no leaks (If your tank looks wet “sweaty” in the lower half it is allowing oil through the metal and may be turned down), and a distance of 5 feet or more from the furnace. This is done only the first time we fill a tank. It requires our driver to have access to the basement at the time of delivery.
We require pre-payment of first time deliveries.
Payment
We accept cash, checks, money orders, and credit cards (Mastercard or Discover is preferred. We also accept Visa and American Express). Payments with a credit card can be made over the phone. When we deliver oil, we will hang the bill on your door with an addressed envelope for mailing payment. There will be a $35 charge on returned checks.
Delinquent Accounts and Collection Agencies
If you are having problems paying your bill, please call us. Keeping communication open is essential. Delinquent accounts may be turned over to a collection agency. At that time, up to 40% of the original bill will be added on to pay for the extra expense to collect. Attempts (phone and US. mail) will be made to notify the customer before the account goes to a collection agency.
If you need assistance paying for fuel, please check into the PA Heating Assistance Program before placing an order.
